Fantastic second experience with Windows Vista Business!
Thursday, November 6th, 2008Following on from my post about my horrible first experience with Windows Vista, I thought I would provide an update on how its going…
When you love your job, living becomes something you have to do when they finally lock the office doors! But probably the best thing about work is that is makes you enjoy the living part that bit more.
As Oscar Wilde once said "I don't want to earn my living; I want to live." So lets make sure we enjoy the fruits of our labour, and indulge in some little luxuries and relaxation!

Whenever something goes wrong with computer software or hardware, inevitably, the Internet is the first place you’ll try to look for solutions (assuming you can get on it of course!). It’s such a rich source of information that almost every problem you experience has happened to someone, somewhere previously. Hence the reason for this post – it describes the problems I have had with Windows Vista Business which came installed on a new PC. I just hope it is some use to someone at some point.
Following my previous article about receiving a DVD from LoveFilm that was quite far down my rental list, in fact 14 discs down, I was quite hopeful that things would get better. Well it appears that they haven’t.
Oh dear, not a good start from the Amazon DVD rental replacement, LoveFilm. I mentioned last week about the Amazon DVD rental service moving to LoveFilm and although my experience with them was a bit patchy when I was with them a few years ago, I was fully expecting it to be a whole lot better this time.
Well it was a surprise to me anyway. I must have been ignoring all the messages because I only just found out last week that the service was changing.
