The first DVD from LoveFilm, and it’s wrong!
Oh dear, not a good start from the Amazon DVD rental replacement, LoveFilm. I mentioned last week about the Amazon DVD rental service moving to LoveFilm and although my experience with them was a bit patchy when I was with them a few years ago, I was fully expecting it to be a whole lot better this time.
I’ve been renting The Sopranos from Amazon for the past few months and had sent back the last disc of Series 2 last week. When I heard about the move, I went onto LoveFilm to make sure my rental list was still intact. It was, and was also easier to use than Amazons – great. I moved The Sopranos up to high priority, and every other series of The Sopranos also moved up to the same priority. I thought this was strange, but they were still on the correct order, so I let it lie. All the other DVD’s were on medium priority.
So what happened today? I received ‘Atonement‘ through the post, which must have been 16 discs down the pecking order, and after The Sopranos Series 3, which was available. Whilst it is a film I wanted to watch, I am so desperate to see the series 3 of The Sopranos, it left me livid! It just seems crazy that they ignore their customers priority to this extent.
