The PageRank and NoFollow “bombshell”

Anyone with an interest in SEO and especially how adding ‘NoFollow’ to hyperlinks interacts with PageRank will probably already be aware of the change that Google has ‘sort of’ announced. Read more on SEOMoz if not. Perhaps you also are up in arms about the whole thing? Well not me as I think the whole DoFollow, PageRank, backlink thing is in an utter mess and not understood as I think Google sees it.

Google PageRank updates at last – longest wait ever!

It has been a long time since the last Google PageRank update – 182 days to be precise – but one started on the 29th October 2007, UK Time. This is the longest time we’ve ever had to wait for the PageRanks to be publicly viewable. The last one was on the 30th April 2007, and that was actually the third one that happened this year, with two others happening in January.
